Camden has been teething forever it seems like. He chews on everything he can put his mouth on and he drools like crazy. He FINALLY cut his first tooth!!!! Friday night I was getting him out of the bath and he was crying and I could see in his mouth and it looked like it was coming through. After I rocked him to sleep, I felt in his mouth and sure enough it was there! He had been pretty fussy the couple days before Friday. I guess we know why now!!!! Kaitlyn is getting her 12 yr molars, so I guess you could say she is teething too! She said, "I know how he feels." He has also started to chew on his feet! He got them up to his mouth awhile ago but now he has figured out he can chew on them. Update on crawling, Camden is getting a little more mobile. When he is on his tummy, he can get around in a circle. He tries to get up on his knees, but no success yet. When he is sitting, he can almost get to a tummy position, but one of his legs get stuck. He can also reach for toys that are almost out of his reach. This helps him to try to move a little. Tonight Kaitlyn helped me lay him down in his crib....I said, "I hate Sunday nights" and she said she hates them too as she covered her little brother up. I don't think there is a day that goes by that she doesn't tell me that she loves him so much! She is such a great big sister. Camden is so blessed to have her as a sister and she is just as blessed to have him for a little brother. Did I mention I hate Sunday nights? I wish everyday was Saturday and we could spend the whole day together!!!!!!
I can almost get my whole foot.....
and hand in my mouth!
Here is a new face! Kaitlyn calls it the "Grandpa Face"
On Saturday mornings I have been cuddling with Camden while he takes his nap. He only takes about a 45 minute nap. I miss my cuddle time during the week, so I make up for it! After he woke up, he turned his head around and started watching TV. He was so relaxed.
In honor of Big Sis, we bought a Mac n Cheese dinner. She had to try it!!!!! She said it did NOT taste like Mac n Cheese.
Camden like it!!!!! He ate it all up! He really loves baby food!
We traded in my Equinox and got a new family car, a Tahoe! We have been thinking about it for awhile and finally decided to go for it! Aaron paid his truck off last month, so we thought it was time to upgrade my car. My Equinox was a good little car. It was getting small! After we loaded everything we needed to take with us we had very little room left. This summer, my air started to act up as well! We pretty much took Aaron's truck and left my car at home because it was too hot in my car. We are a growing family and needed something bigger! I was nervous because I wasn't sure if i would be able to drive a Tahoe. They are pretty big! But, I can! It is so easy and smooth! I will have to practice parking, but will be a pro in no time! The main thing we wanted was to have air in the back for the kids! It does and they can even control how high and the temperature they want!!!!! If you see us in our new ride on the road, HONK!!!!!!
Here are some recent pictures we took. Camden is trying to get up on his knees. He holds his body up with his arms but it is just such hard work getting the back half. He has also become more vocal with his giggles. He just loves to laugh and smile from the minute he gets up. He is such a happy baby!!!!! Kaitlyn found a maraca in her closet and Camden loves it!!!!! He really loves to shake everything, even things that don't make noise. Enjoy the sweetest boy in the world!
This is hard work....
I love my sister's maraca
I love to smile at my Mommy! I don't like when I can't see her!
Aaron is super excited it's football season!!!! Camden wore his Texans jersey we bought him while I was pregnant. I LOVE this time of the year. I love to hear Aaron yell at the TV and get mad when he doesn't win his fantasy football game :) It is tons of fun!!!!!
Where does the time go? Camden is 7 months old today. Today was the first time I haven't been home with my baby on his "month birthday" I came home from school and we made up for it. When I think back to February, it seems like so long ago. I remember getting ready for him to get here. We would get all the baby gear out and ready. I couldn't imagine a baby using those things. Now we use them everyday! Kaitlyn and Camden have taught me so much in such a short time. To take life slow. And cherish every minute. I learn from them everyday. Kids are amazing!
He has such a sweet personality. He has started to giggle more and smiles all day long. In the mornings while I get ready for work, he likes to sit on my bed and listen to himself scream (talk, not cry). He has realized that he can be loud!!!! He loves to watch me blow dry my hair. This morning he was in a trance watching me. This past week when Kaitlyn and I drop him off at Oma's he has been giving us a big smile. It makes it easier to leave him knowing he is happy. He loves watching his sister. Tonight Kaitlyn was doing her cupid shuffle dance and he watched her every way she went. She can sure make him smile. She is the one that makes him smile in most of the pictures. They have such a special bond already! TGIF I love the weekends!
He has gotten chunkier :)
It's the Witte tongue!
He likes to cover his eyes when he is going night night
We tried pears tonight. Camden loved them. We have been eating a veggie and fruit for dinner the last couple of nights. Camden has seemed to like it. I was a little nervous because when he would eat the whole serving of baby food, he would spit up. I started with just 1/3 of each and tonight we did half and half with no spit up. I think his belly is getting bigger! We are on full formula now, too. I was nursing but went back to work and decided and Camden too, that it would be much better and stress free if we went to formula. He has done very well adjusting!!! He has also decided that he has become a napper!!!! especially at Oma's. Today he slept from 11:15-2:00!!! WOW! I am definitely asking her what her trick is. He has been sleeping better at home for me, but not like that!!! We had a great 3 day weekend. We spent it hanging out at home. I have really missed seeing my baby all day long. I cherish the weekends now!!!! Today I only got to see him for 3 hours before he went to bed. We had a parent meeting at school so I had to stay late :( I guess that is part of being a working Mom. I held him an extra 20 minutes tonight after he went to sleep!!!!
I love when Mommy is home!
Playing with my friend, Maddox. We are only 1 month apart.
Who do you think put my hat on?
I think they are yummy!
Caught mid scream....Camden loves to hear himself scream! It is so cute!!!!
I am Mom to Kaitlyn, Camden and Landry. I love being a Mom. It is the most important job in the world, and I get to be a Mommy to 3 very special kiddos. I love teaching 1st grade and spending time with my family. Our favorite places to go are the Ranger games, movies, and Target.
